Experienced Factory Manager (Electronics/Electrical)


Educational Qualification:

  • B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or EXTC Engineering.


Work Experience:

  • 10 to 15+ years in manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in a Factory Manager or Plant Head role within the electrical/electronics industry.

Responsibilities:

      1. Production & Operations Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process of electronic instruments, controllers, and panels.
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet sales and dispatch targets.
  • Monitor production bottlenecks and optimize workflow on the assembly lines (PCB assembly, soldering, testing, and final packaging).
  • Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, testing equipment, and manpower.
      2. Quality Control & Testing:
  • Implement and enforce strict quality assurance protocols at all stages of production (Inward, In-process, and Final QC).
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in electrical/electronic circuitry when escalated by the testing team.
  • Ensure all products meet required industry standards (e.g., ISO certifications, CE marks) and internal specifications.
     3. Team Leadership & Manpower Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of production engineers, supervisors, technicians, and assembly line workers.
  • Manage shift schedules, attendance, leaves, and overall shop-floor discipline.
  • Identify training needs and conduct regular skill-upgradation sessions for technical staff.
     4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Coordinate with the procurement and stores departments to ensure a continuous supply of electronic components, PCBs, and mechanical parts.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking (knowledge of Just-In-Time or lean inventory is a plus).
     5. Process Improvement & Safety:
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce wastage, cycle times, and operational costs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with industrial safety protocols and environmental regulations at the Dahisar works.
  • Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of plant machinery and testing setups.


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of electronic component assembly (Through-hole and SMD), PCB manufacturing processes, and wiring/panel building.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using ERP software for production planning and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership, hands-on problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills (fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is highly preferred).
