Job Description:

  • To work as a Manager and manage the resident and nonresident team of sales staff.
  • To attend Business enquiries received by email, telephone and by sales team.
  • To set the sales target for self and sales team.
  • To visit customers for negotiation, Business generation and Business Development, Product presentation.
  • To drive the team for lead generations and convert the lead in enquiries and enquiries in to Business.

Senior Business Development Manager

Job Description :

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our growth strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding Libratherm’s market footprint, acquiring new B2B clients, and strengthening relationships with existing OEM and end-user accounts. You will bridge the gap between our technical engineering capabilities and client needs, driving revenue growth in the industrial automation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Business Growth:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Identify new market segments and applications for Libratherm’s range of temperature and process control instruments.

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.

  1. Client Acquisition & Account Management:

  •  Hunt for new business opportunities within target industries (Pharmaceuticals, Plastics, Steel, HVAC, etc.).

  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and large industrial end-users.

  •  Manage key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  1. Technical Consultative Sales:

  • Understand client technical requirements and propose appropriate Libratherm solutions (e.g., PID controllers, Dataloggers, Thyristor power packs).

  • Collaborate with the R&D and manufacturing teams to customize solutions for specific client needs.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective clients.

  1. Team Leadership & Reporting:

  • Mentor and guide junior sales executives (if applicable).

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts to senior management.

  • Represent Libratherm at industrial trade shows, expos, and networking events.

Job Specification :

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. (MBA in Marketing is a plus).

  • Experience: 7–12 years of proven experience in B2B sales, specifically in Process Control Instruments, Industrial Automation, or Electronics Manufacturing.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial applications involving temperature control, power control, and data acquisition.

Key Competencies (Skills):

  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and explain complex engineering concepts (PID, Thyristors, Modbus, IoT).

  • Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of closing high-value deals and negotiating contracts.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and local language if applicable).

  • Dynamic Personality: High energy, self-motivated, and willing to travel extensively for client visits.

  • Digital Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and using digital tools (LinkedIn) for lead generation.
